Thinking / Topic guide

Adoption needs local understanding.

Practical AI in Bangladesh needs attention to how people communicate, how businesses operate, and who is responsible when a system gets something wrong.

Begin with the actual conversation

A useful test set should reflect the languages and communication styles of the people the business serves. Evaluate Bangla, English, and mixed-language requests where relevant. Include short messages, spelling variation, missing context, and questions that arrive across several turns. Do not assume that a polished English demonstration represents everyday use.

Treat trust as part of the product

People need to know what the system can do, when they are speaking to automation, and how to reach a person. Confirm important details in clear language. A booking request, a confirmed booking, and a request waiting for review should look different. Clarity at these points matters more than an elaborate interface.

Build an adoption plan

A small business needs more than a tool subscription. Identify who will maintain its information, review exceptions, and help staff adapt. Train people on the workflow and its limits. Start with a manageable scope and review real examples together. The approach should fit the team’s capacity to run it after the initial setup.

Connect governance to daily decisions

Risk management becomes useful when it changes practical choices: what data is collected, who can access it, which actions need approval, and how incidents are handled. NIST’s AI Risk Management Framework provides a general reference for considering risks across the lifecycle. It is not a statement of Bangladeshi law or a substitute for local obligations.

Keep policy discussion precise

Distinguish an enacted instrument, a published draft, a proposal, and a personal recommendation. Date references and link to the underlying document when discussing policy. This topic area connects adoption and governance questions; it does not assert that a particular policy is currently in force. Specific policy analysis requires a current, verified source.
